“Ozone Ranger” Vintage Hot Air Balloon Pin AIBF 1973

This is a pin from one of the earliest AIBF events. “Ozone Ranger” was flown in 1973, and the balloon is pictured in the event program for that year.The pin is a cloisonné type, with a safety catch style pin back. Pin size is 1” tall x 7/8” wide.This pin is in especially nice condition given its age, with almost no surface wear or oxidation on the front. There is some very minor oxidation darkening on the back, but no chrome damage. Minor oxidation like this can be removed wit...h metal polish (Simichrome, or another brand of similar quality).All of the pins I’m listing are from a large collection, acquired in the 1970’s and 1980’s by my friend’s parents.Please see photos, and contact me if you have any questions.
