Vintage Jackson Yellow Welders Hard Hat. Fiberglass W/Head Liner Typ. SC-2. The Condition appers to have been new with handling flaws from over the years. The Jackson Quality Products sticker is still on the back and paper sticker on the inside. It was perfect but very dirty from years of storage before I tried to clean it up a little. I washed it off and some of the sticker on the back and about 10" of tread disintegrated around the liner. I epoxy glued what came loose back in place. ...It looks and works as good as if the stitches were still there. I assume the rest of the stitching will break with use. There are 2 chipped spot on the right side and a small scuff on the very top center but no evidence that the hard hat was ever used. The chips should be a easy fix. These little turtle shell hard hats have become quite rare these days. I worked construction for 40 years and this style has always been my favourite. See photos and ask questions if you need to.
