DESCRIPTION
FOR SALE:This is from a very large camera estate in western PA that has been sitting unused in storage for many years. Note: I am not a photographer, collector nor expert. I am selling estate items. I am not able to assess condition in any professional manner. This item is being sold AS IS and may need cleaning and restoration to be used. Sold for parts or restoration. PLEASE ask any questions important to your satisfaction BEF...ORE bidding.
ITEM: This is a very large lens with aperture that I can't identify. I don't see any markings or numbers except for the numbers on the aperture dial. The lens barrel measures about 12.5 cm (5 inches) in diameter at the back and abut 3 1/4 inches long. The aperture ring has numbers 4.5, 5.6, 6.3, 8, 11, 16, 22. There are internal threads on in the barrel that would mount it. The inside diameter at the back is about 12 cm. There is also an external ring of threads near the front of the barrel - I'm guessing for a lens hood mount or something. There is a single lens at the front, that measures about 3 3/4 inches or 9.5 cm in diameter. When held up to white paper, a distant image comes into focus at about 13 inches. I can see a few spots or smudges on the glass that would need cleaning. I don't know the exact use of the lens, nor am I in any way qualified to assess condition accurately. So, this is being sold AS IS for parts or restoration. Please see pictures and ask any questions.
