German tube radio, built 1960
by the famous SABA company, Villingen, black forest.Restored completely, working perfect !
Excellent condition !Stereo amplifier for mp3, iphone, pick up.
FM, AM, LW, SW mono amplifier.Typical design of the early 1960ies.

This radio has been restored electrically
and optically by myself.
I am engineer for telecommunication and
restoring tube radios since
more than 30 years.
In that period I got a lot of experience with these radios.
THIS RADIO IS WORKING PERFECT, GREAT SOUND AND
RECEIPT !
The wood and varnishing is in great condition.
Very few signs of age and use !
Please have a look at the fotos, it looks great,
and will be of course an eyecatcher in your living room.
The cloth is very good !
The dial glass is mint !
This radio has 2 full band speakers ( greencones )
in front and 2 tweeters to the left and right
for full 3D sound.
The chassis has been restored electrically.
The tubes are new or used in mint condition.
The magic eye EM84 is used but good and working perfect.
All bad capacitors are changed , the mechanic is working perfect,
the switches are in good working condition.
All knobs and keys are original.
The chassis itself is cleaned and in original excellent condition.
The speakers are all in excellent working condition !
There are following tubes inside:
EC92 , EC92 , ECH81 , EBF89 , ECC83 , EC92 , EL95 , EL95 , EM84
The filters were adjusted using a Grundig AS5 test transmitter.
Result:
Fantastic sound, a lot of bass and clear highs !
Perfect receipt on FM,
also on AM , short wave and long wave.
The radio has a push-pull end stage amplifier in
Mono ( all ranges, FM, AM, LW, SW and mono pick up ).
For pick-up ( TA , mp3, iphone, etc. ) it has stereo end stage !
The radio is factory prepaired to work on 220-240 VAC.As well as on 110-120V AC.
I will prepare the radio to work in the country you live !
The dimensions of the radio are:
620 x 385 x 285 mm / 24.4 x 15.2 x 11.2 inch
You might need an adapter for the power plug.
