Original Description:
This listing is for a vintage French porcelain very large oversized dresser or jewelry box. It measures 5 3/4 inches or 14.6 cm high, and is 13 1/4 inches or 33.6 cm at its widest. The piece has a cobalt ground with heavy applied gold highlights throughout the piece. The cover is hand painted with a large landscape scene that features Napoleon on horseback in the mountains with soldiers behind him. The bottom of the box has an "S" and crossed line mark. The box is mounted in gilt bron...ze mounts with a scrolling clasp at the front.The piece is in excellent condition, and ready for your home or shop.
