Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI ImperialGerman commemorative service plaque. Features an “iron cross” with a wreath ofoak leaves and acorns. The center has an image of the town of Burghausen, alongwith a slogan which translates to “THROUGH STRUGGLE TO VICTORY / FROM VICTORYTO PEACE” and dated “1914/16”. Nice original finish and attractive patina. Nicedetail, has hanging loop on the back. Measures about 5 ½” x 5 ½”. Neat piecefor your collection. ...r>
