Late Ming Bronze Figure of a Confucian Deity . I had the figure (which retains some gilding) appraised by Bonhams in London and they assessed a value of $2, 000.  They confirmed that it is late Ming and is likely one of the four Confucian deities.  Due to its age, it has two damaged areas--it is missing what was likely a lotus leaf that was being held in the figure's hand and there is a crack on the rear of the pedestal (both pictured).  Shipped with USPS Priority M...ail.
