Vintage IBM Model F 122. Condition is Used. Comes with xwhatsit installed which you can read about here.This controller provides NKRO for all compatible Model F's and uses Xwhatsit's programming utility to easily map keys and function layers. These can be used with most model F's and 4704 keyboards (50 key, 62 key (kishsaver), 77 key, 107 key), 104 Key Model F Unsaver, Model F 122, AT Model F, and possibly others. They cannot be used with the XT Model F as its original... controller is not separate from the capsense board. It can be used with 3178 Model F's, but requires an additional adapter (which is not included here) or manually wiring the capsense PCB to the controller instead of using the original ribbon cable. Besides converting to USB, Xwhatsit's Controller also adds the following functions to the keyboard:Remapping - Assign any key to any other key, including ones that aren't on the keyboard, like media volume controls or the "Apple/Command/Windows" key. Macros - Beta feature right nowFunction Layers - Changes the behavior of other keys when the function key is held down. Think of this like adding extra "Shift" keys to add more functions to existing keys.Select Layers- Press a key once and it permanently changes the layout until that same key is pressed again. Think of this like "Num Lock" which completely changes what the number pad does. This is also useful if you are using multiple different operating systems or applications that you want different layouts from time to time. Pressing one key could change the function of "ALT" to the "Apple/Command/Windows" key. It also will allow you to have several different layouts programmed for different applications.
