We are listing today a great Antique 19th century Stoneware Salt Glazed Flower Decorated Small Somerfield County Pennsylvania Pitcher. This pitcher is in Excellent Condition with 1 V chip at the top rim and some manufactured roughness, there are a number of below the glaze spider lines at the bottom area, base and 1 at the top rim area. There is some roughness or matting to the cobalt blue in areas due to a lack of salt glaze. No other chips, cracks, and or repa...irs. You can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the overall excellent condition. The pitcher measures 9" tall, the top rim is 5" x 4 3/4" x 6 1/4" wide x 4 1/8" at the base and weighs approximately 3lb 8oz. The pitcher has a great thin walled ovoid form, the thinness caused the spider lines during the firing. Great hand tooled top rim with pour spout and hand tooled and applied thin handle. Great cobalt blue decorations throughout. The crock is not marked, possibly a George & Albert Black unmarked pitcher.
