Near Mint USAF Air Force P-1 Jet Pilot Flight Helmet with Avionics. Size is SMALL. I inherited this along with my Dads militaria collection. All I know about this helmet is what I can find on Ebay. I There is a label fabric inside that reads Sling assembly for helmet flying pilots protective Type P ( this is where the label is stitched so tight I cant see the edge, but there is definitely another digit after the P-) the rest of it reads size small, dwg 4703185 c...ontract AF-33 (602)-4084 General Textile Mills
I found a very similar one on Ebay that sold April 10th, Its description said USAF Air Force P-1B jet pilot flight helmet with avionics. Its pictures look just like this one I am selling, but again, I am not an expert. I do not see where this one I have for sale has the "B" designation, but the edge of the label is stitched in so I cant tell if it is there or not. If anyone seeing this listing has more info I would love to hear from you.
