This ca. 1915 arts and crafts table lamp shade features a riveted brass frame with wrought curlicues and untouched, original dark/blackish patina and measures 7” tall x 15” across. The medium-pale caramel slag panels are enlivened by a lambrequin skirt of variegated poppy red and there are no cracks in the glass panes. It is possible the top panels are replacements. The glass looks antique to me and they could have been re-cut from larger, old slag panels. Unusually, the inte...rior of the shade is fitted with a ring that will sit nicely in a 10” lamp spider…perhaps for a kerosene base in pre-REMC America? It is fresh from storage and VERY dirty and some of the panes are a bit loose in the frame.WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO SHIP WORLDWIDE IF ALLOWED BY USPS.
