Note: I’ve found that these build up very well out of the box, with no known problems to speak of, the wheels need to be trued, but nearly every new bike out the the box from the 80s and before, until now, has wheels that need to be trued.On to the description: Here is an honest to goodness, new old stock, new in box, 80s Miyata, tall frame steel road bike (chro moly main frame), extraordinarily well appointed by Miyata, one of the best.The one shipped to you is not the one in these ...photos, but it is IDENTICAL, the box will have been opened only to check that everything is there and in good condition, but it will not have been built like this one (having it built at a local bike shop is advised if you are not an experienced mechanic yourself).Kept in a DRY basement for over 3 decades and finally available to you now in unheard of condition for a bike of this age.Gotta love Japanese steel.Components: Araya alloy raised center rims, Sakae Road Champion bars, Sakae engraved stem, Miyata saddle, Miyata 27 x 1 1/8” tires, MKS platform weighted quill pedals, Sakae crank set, Suntour Perfect gold finish 5 speed freewheel, Dia Compe brake levers and calipers (centerpull), Suntour vx derailleurs, Suntour Power ratcheting stem shifters, and suede (that’s right, suede) bar tape.Truly beautiful.Silver blue and burgundy 310 and red 210 also available, see other listings.Please ask any questions.Thank you.
