Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of this prized gem species from a seldom referenced Indian locale!!! This specimen consists of a complete, undamaged, chrysoberyl crystal that exhibits the characteristic sixling twinning that this species is so famous for!!! This specimen is a thick, stout, floate...r crystal with no point of attachment!!! The crystal exhibits lustrous, sharply defined details with marked translucence and rich golden yellow color!!! Indian chrysoberyl crystals are seldom seen on the market and fine, sharp examples are virtually nonexistent!!!This specimen is from the collection of the famed Rock Currier and retains its original label as well!!! A portion of the Currier collection was offered in Tucson for the first time and I was literally the first in line (woke up at 5am!) - although just a small fraction of the collection was available I was able to snatch up a handful of exciting specimens - don't miss out!!!
