Vintage Union 76 Double-Sided Porcelain Enamel "No Smoking" Sign
Up for auction is this double-sided porcelain enamel sign from Union 76 Petroleum Co.. Sign was purchased at a local longshoreman's estate and I was told it came from the docks in Los Angeles Harbor. Both sides have in text "For Your Safety No Smoking Stop Motor". It measures 12" by 12" with four 1/4" diameter mounting holes. Condition of the sign is very good/good with no major bends or chips. There is some chipping a...round the edges and mounting holes along with some minor spider cracks in two separate areas. Condition issues are minor and I don't believe it affects the overall appearance of the sign.
