VERY RARE 1980's-90's vintage 486 Toshiba Laptop/Desktop COLOR computer by Model T6400C with corded removable keyboard, 1 slot for sound card (Soundblaster sound card is installed with old style joystick gaming port) COLOR LCD screen with exceptionally clear graphics for this era. Extremely rare style of machine, not many were made or even sold at all. This was a "new design" prototype "laptop/desktop" prior to the laptop computers of today when the flat screen was just being tweaked f...or regular laptop incorporation to save room from having a bulky CRT screen. This looks like a bulky laptop, it is not a "standard" laptop because it does not have battery capability but only plug in the wall. Made as a type of portable desktop machine without the bulky CRT monitor. This is a great working museum piece for sure, very rare! Works great and has rare "Fifth Generation Systems" security and monitoring program "Direct Access" to get to DOS 5, Windows 3.1, and misc.other programs installed. Been in storage since late 1990's. Was used only a couple years, then stored with other collectibles. Comes with all original booklets and information. No original box. Some program 3.5 floppies are included, computer works great (see photo). Needs an old style plug type mouse. This model is pre-USB so NO USB ports are included, however the sound card can be removed and a USB card (not included) could be installed in its place however you would have no sound. 3.5 floppy drive installed, NO CD ROM. (CD ROM was just being researched and didn't exist when this was made) No hurry to sell this. May entertain reasonable offers. "Icondoit" is one that is in the windows 3.1 when brought up that makes the icons "dance". A few interesting screensavers from the era are there as well, including one called "Dazzle" Lots of other goodies too. Its just as it was back until about 1989 or so. and hasn't been messed with other than powering up to be sure all is working good.
