Description A stunning & very rare antique Royal Doulton Flambe Vase.
A Bernard Moore vase, decorated with a Viking Longboat on rough seas with standing figures aboard. Superb lustre glazes with applied enamels and some gilding ! (definitely not a modern re-production).
Bernard Moore produced this kind of vases under his own name in the 1920's. But he worked first in Stoke for several years ...with Cuthbert Bailey, developing ideas for flambé wares.
Here is a fabulous exemple, signed ROYAL DOULTON FLAMBE.
Measurements Measures approx 7.75 inches (198mm) in height and is 6.5 inches (165mm) in diameter.Date: around 1910
Condition Excellent condition, with no cracks, no chips and no repairs.A superb example of Art Nouveau Flambé vase ! and very hard to find in this state.
