It operates on 3 Rail track. This is a replica of the famed Pennsylvania Railroad geared turbine of 1944, which was an experimental engine built to test the viability of using turbines in steam locomotives. It was not a success, but it remains one of the great "what ifs" in railroading history. This model features all metal construction, a powerful Pittman motor, reverse unit, sounds, smoke unit, an operating headlight, and intricate detail.
