I purchased this doll from Nickel Enterprises of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in March, 1995. The doll is in excellent condition as described on the tag placed by Nickel Enterprises. She is in her original outfit and also has the original box. I have enclosed the letter from the seller describing the history of ownership. I have stored this beautiful doll in her original box, rather than having her out on display. Her hair could use some styling. I will insure the doll and also have ...the local UPS store package her to insure a safe arrival to the new lucky owner. I have added pictures of the box (the side that is taped) and the other long side of the box has a C shaped tear that is about 1.5 inches and the short end of the box also has a similar tear; however neither tears are taped. As one can observe in a close up of the face, about 1/4 inch or so of eyelashes are missing from the right eyelashes. I can include a copy of the Antique Doll World Nov/Dec 1994 ad by Nikki Kvitka that indicates that she has several Shirley Texas Rangers in stock. I contacted her and I purchased this particular doll from her. I have added three pictures of her body which show some fine lines on the outside and inside of both legs as well as some discoloration on her left upper leg. Her front and back torso look great. Both of her brown socks have a hole in the toe area and her boots are scuffed. By the way, I had difficulty getting her vest and shirt off, so I did not want to cause any damage. This is the first time I have ever truly checked for any issues. I am certainly not a doll expert and each of the dolls I purchased were ones I fell in love with and relied on the expertise of the seller. This doll was certainly my favorite. Thank you
