VINTAGE JOHN WAYNE'S 26 BAR RANCH METAL STEEL SIGN 18" X 12" This eBay listing is for vintage 26 Bar Ranch owned by John Wayne, metal sign that comes as you see pictured and noted above. The overall size of this sign is 18" tall by 12" across in that has a few scratches from use. I believe this dates from the mid 1960's to possible the mid 1970's era. I actually have a cool back story on this sign, sterling silver no...tepad, auction catalog booklet and the comics that I'll be listing at this time with John Wayne on the cover, is that I'm told it came from John Wayne's 26 Bar Ranch per the previous owner which was a museum that was selling off some items to make room for new inventory. I picked up a number of comics, some steel No 26 signs, programs and a sterling silver notepad from the same sale. I tried to get a few other items with his name or initials on it as well but the prices were insane for some of the items!! Sadly, NO PROVENANCE was provided to back any of this up.
