You are bidding on a postwar Lionel #671R Electronic Steam Turbine Locomotive & 4671W Whistle Tender. This one dates from 1948. This locomotive is in excellent+ condition and has no problems or damage. The die-cast boiler is flawless. The original black paint still has a super nice appearance with very few noticeable contact marks. The cab numbers are clear and bold. The decals are in good condition.The plated parts have excellent original finish. Runs forward and reverse with a 3...-position e-unit. Has an operating smoke unit and an operating headlight. This locomotive has been tested and was found to be in running condition. The smoke unit and headlight are both in good working order. The tender is in excellent+ condition and has no problems or damage. The plastic body is flawless. The paint still has a super nice appearance with very few noticeable contact marks. The lettering is clear and bold. The metal parts have excellent original finish. Has staple-end trucks with an operating coupler. The wiring is in good condition. Tested and working. Absolutely nothing is broken or missing. Comes complete with nice original boxes that still have their original liners. The tender box has no missing flaps.
