Item Description
Up for bids is an original Wyvern resin prototype figure from the toyline, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. This prototype is pretty massive, but it's in scale with Tiamat. It's a beautiful sculpt. During the toy production process, this piece would be referred to as a resin hardcopy. Hardcopies are generally used for paint samples, toy fair displays, and tooling for a...ny final changes that might be necessary. This figure is does not use brass stock to be pieced together; instead it has resin slots that fit together like a puzzle piece. The Wyvern figure was never released to the public. The Wyvern isn't even in the LJN toy fair catalog. The only image of the Wyvern figure appears in an LJN puffy sticker pack; I've attached a photo. The wings, head, and horns all detach. It does not have any trademark information printed on it. This allows you to really appreciate the details in the sculpt. I obtained this prototype directly from a former LJN employee about 3 years ago; I'm including the letter that he sent me with the figure. This prototype is being sold as-is; it does have some general production wear to it; please refer to photos.

By the end of summer, I'm moving out of state and need to downsize a good chunk of my collection to help with moving costs. I'm sad to part with these pieces, but hope they can go to a collector who will appreciate them as much as I have.
