This listing is for a Gorgeous Old Chinese Red Silk Jacket/Robe with Hand Embroidered Garden Roundels with scattered embroidered swords, double swords, Bats, hermit crabs, fish, fans, lotus flowers, and more. The more you look at this piece the more you see. Each garden scene have a hut, a very tall pagoda, a pine tree, a willow tree, a maple tree, water with 2 boats with a person in one, flowers scattered about, blooming cherry blossom tree, clouds, and birds... in the sky. The embroidered design is incredible. This jacket has an Asian Collar, long sleeves, 5 fancy black silk frogs down the front as closures, and it has a red 100% silk lining. The embroidered trim is stunning--made up of brightly colored peonies and chrysanthemums on white silk with a black silk cord surrounding all of the floral trim. It is embellished on the front and back. It is around the collar, cuffs, and hem--down the front by the collar and the hem. It has a brand label of Esme and a size tag of M. It says it is a size Medium but it measures out to be a size Large, but please read the measurements to be sure it will work for you. It is a 41 inches long, the long sleeves are 22 inches long, 10 inches wide, 21 inches from underarm to underarm, 47 inches at the hips, it is 17 1/2 inches from the last frog to the hem, and the slit on each side is 12 1/2 inches long. This gives you a bit more room in the hips and makes it easier to walk and move. It is clean, smells nice, and is from a smoke free home. This jacket is in very good antique condition. It was never worn, it has been packed away and is still crisp. It has no rips, tears, holes, dirt, or stains. There are no issues at all that I could find. Please look at all of the pictures.
