Antique Walnut Savery Dining Room Water Cooler and Refrigerator Commercial Kitchen Appliance 1868
A very rare antique Walnut Savery Dining Room Water Cooler and Refrigerator. It was a commercial non electric kitchen appliance dating back to the 1868 era. It was manufactured by the Savery & Co. of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The label states:

An all walnut... case with white enamel porcelain coated cast iron insides. Door on one end has the original working lock with key. Lift lid over water reservoir is where you would add ice to melt. This would cool the cast iron compartments. The Water Cooler Refrigerator lets you chill your food or beverages in one compartment and provides iced water to drink in the other compartment. Original brass spigot and swing out mug, glass or pitcher wooden holder. Original brass manufacturer tag on the door. Original old finish. Original screw on fluted walnut legs. Very nice condition. A very rare and a true antique museum quality commercial grade wooden kitchen appliance.
27 inches wide by 19 inches deep by 41 inches tall. 19 inches tall legs.Guesstimate weight 150 pounds.
