Hello, Up for auction we have this great piece of History. This is a 1950’s Simplex XL PR-1004 Commercial Movie Projector that was used in a movie theater in Allegan , mi. It is 35mm. These are rare to find. I don’t know a lot about it but it's a great old piece. Missing is the light source (lamp house) rectifier unit (power supply for lamp) upper and lower reel arms, and lens ( Thank you David!). So what you have here is a great start to a good build. It appears to be in good shap...e but we have no way to test anything. We are selling as is. I took the projector off the base to clean it a little and inspect it further. It seems well maintained. The Oil level look full and clean. It has the SA5 electric changeover on it. We could probably ship but would prefer pick up as the base is very heavy. if shipping is needed Buyer pays for shipping.
