Rare Vintage Atlas / Craftsman / Delta Etc. Metal / Wood 7" Lathe Headstock
I can not find any photos of a similar base and locking system anywhere. Not sure of the mfg. HELP!The base bottom has 2 "V" grooves 2 1/2" apart and two Cam Operated Locking Feet that are 7/8" wide by 1 3/16" long and 5 1/2" apartThe base is 6 5/8" long by 3 1/4" wide. The spindle centerline from the base bottom is 3 3/4"The spindle has a... number 1 MT boreIt comes with a 3 3/8" Diameter Faceplate and a CenterIt has a hard rubber hand wheel and 2 oilersIt has a 3 step flat pulley (for leather belts)The spindle bearings are good. It turns freely and has no end or side playIt has 2 sets of index holes on the pulley for indexing and dividing and 2 stop pinsIt is in Good Condition, scratches, dings, etc.
