16mm Original Movie Lab PrintA QUIET REVOLUTION (1967)Produced by STP, Studebaker and Champion Spark PlugsHere is an awesome piece of racing history offered up for bid... a film promo of STP's Turbine showcase at the 1967 Indianapolis 500 which shows all the behind the scenes drama of this historic race... right up to it's finish... the filmmaker makes liberal use of soundbites throughout the film, and you’ll hear the actual voices of... drivers, mechanics, racing personalities and even great commentaries from the perspective of STP... and you’ll hear Andy Granatelli speak on the makings of their first turbine debut at the race with none other than racing Hall Of Famer... Parnelli Jones... how exciting...and the cool thing about this film was that it was the personal print of Vince Granatelli Sr.... still in it's original shipping case with it's original address label showing it being sent directly from the STP headquartes to become an official file print for the Granatelli Family Home Film Library which we purchsed from Vince back in 1998... and to think that this is an ORIGINAL artifact from that company and that historic family makes this even more the rare to possess...Not many of these EVER turn up so good luck and happy bidding...This would make an EXCELLENT addition to any film fan's collection... About the print: color sound print.... about 22 minutes long... ready to watch... mounted on a 1200' reel in it's original shipping case...Condition: great... plays very smoothly... has great crisp sharp image... The color is a bit warm... BOOMING sound... sold AS-IS!!!!
