You are bidding on a rare original program for a performance by The Who, of their celebrated rock opera "Tommy, " at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York NY, on June 7, 1970. This was a special one off show, after having performed Tommy on tour, and at the Fillmore East. Bill Graham had David Byrd design a special program for this show, with a silver foil cover. This twelve page program features the story of Tommy, along with photos of all of the band members.... This is a must have for any serious Who fan.
This program measures roughly 8.5" x 8.5, " and the covers show signs of wear, particularly because of the foil and its tendency to peel. Nonetheless, it is intact, and the inside pages are all in very good shape, with just moderate handling. The authenticity of this item is guaranteed for life.
