Up for auction we have this Rare Lenox White House Millenium Pattern dinner plate. Purchased from the collection of a gentleman who worked for the White for many years through multiple terms. He worked with Lenox in making special orders for First Lady luncheons among other special events. We have some of these plates where they have his name in the center in gold gilt. The border colors consist of Cobalt Blue for the Wilson service, green with a hint of yellow from the Truman service,... Roosevelt’s Cobalt and gold accented ivory and Reagan’s American Federal red. Jewel toned enamel dots and rich bands of gold are hand applied. The plate measures 10 7/8”. The liner in the box does have some losses but the plate is excellent. Also comes with certificates from Lenox. We will be happy to provide the winning bidder with some provenance of the piece.
