Original Description:
I am delighted to offer for sale this extremely rare Derby soft paste porcelain moulded and gilded teapot.Made in the derby factory between 1770-1777 possibly by Stephen Pierre ( modeller).The piece is marked to the base with the gold conjoined anchor and D mark.Dimensions: Height 10.8cm Diameter 9.6cmThe teapot is in very good antique condition There is a hairline inside the teapot that can be seen on the out side about 1cm adjacent to the lady with hairlines on the base. Two ver...y minor nibbles to the spout and one on the rim.All can be clearly seen on the photos.However this in no way detracts from the beautiful manner in which this piece displays.A superb item for the discerning collector.Five day listing.
