• Rare Peter Wright Anvil, Made between 1910-1930 in Dudley, England• Most recorded Peter Wright anvils found in the US do not contain the "Made in England" stamp. • In the year 1910, England passed a law requiring all exports of this kind be marked with "England." • Weighs 80 Lbs., 36 Kgs.• Length from heel to horn is 18 3/4", Height is 9 2/16", & width of the face is 3 1/2"• 3/4" Hardy Hole located on the rear of the face, No Pritchel hole.• 4 handling holes• Stam...ps include, " PETER WRIGHT PATENT", "MADE IN ENGLAND" "SOLID WROUGHT", "2858", the letter "U" and "0 2 24" indicating the Stone Weight = 80 lbs, 36 kgs. • (2) letter "E" are stamped on the front foot • ALL STAMPS ARE HIGHLIGHTED IN PHOTOS• Face of the anvil contains two indents towards the front of the face(see photos), edges have some normal chipping as seen in the photos• The table and horn of the anvil have some cut marks of typical use.
