19th C. Islamic Arabic Arab SHAMSHIR SAIF Sword in Silver Mounts, A good Arabic example in ornate silver furniture with engraved decorations. Mounted with a strong and sturdy blade, having unusual carved markings and engraved decorations. Lower blade bearing a struck makers mark containing Islamic calligraphy.
