I have for sale this incredibly rare to find Parisian Marionettes open front jacket. It was found on an antique market here in the South of France. It is truly the most exquisite piece. It has been made of coral coloured silk taffeta, finely embroidered with metal thread that has dulled with the passage of time, the cuffs finished with a deep café au lait coloured lace frill. The overall condition is good as per photographs, you will see the silk taffeta is still bright in colour with...out any marks or stains, as I have said the metal thread has dull to emphasize it's historic authenticity, the lace is dusty from long term storage. If you have a special antique doll, this is a wonderful extremely find. The total length taken down the back from the top of the stand up collar to the bottom of the jacket measures approx 16.5" or 42cms, when laid flat, from under arm to under arm is approx 6.5" or 16cms. I cannot tell you exactly how old the coat/jacket is, the materials are early, it has been constructed with both machine stitch and hand stitch.
