I have here for sale a book entitled COMPLETE WORKS OF EDMUND SPENSER edited by R. MORRIS. This GLOBE EDITION was published in 1871 by MACMILLAN, London.Includes the epic poem THE FAERIE QUEENE a fantastical view of the Tudor dynasty and in celebration of Elizabeth I, The Shepheards Calendar, Ruins of Time, Teares of the Muses, Mother Hubberds Tale, Virgils Gnat and more.
Nicely bound in green leather boards. Gilt title lettering to the spine which has 5 raised bands- leather splitt...ing on the top section of the spine. Board edges are rubbed. Tanning and light foxing to the endpapers. Gilt fore-edges. This book is in good condition, the pages are clean and bright and it is tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 736 pages 18cm x 13 cm.
