Alexander Trocchi’s Cain’s Book. 1963 1st British edition, 1st impression. Published by John Calder. Excellent hardback bound in bright red boards with gilt titles on the spine. In its original jacket, which is unclipped and now protected by removable archival film. Jacket shows some edge wear and light chipping. -Very light water mark along top front edge of jacket, not at all effecting the boards beneath. Cover illustration is of a sculpture by Trocchi himself. No ...inscriptions or internal markings whatsoever. Text-block sharp and crisp.
