Description: A Cape Silver sauce spoon / ladle in the Old English pattern, with very clear marks.The marks are the makers mark ‘IL’ for Jan Lotter and the original owners monogram in very clear script ‘JT’ or ‘IT’Jan Lotter worked between 1813 and 1817 which makes it very easy to date his pieces.
