This auction is for a vintage Accurist ACCU 2 model A2-14012 digital Armour watch - Tokyo design. I do not know anything at all about this watch, except it is rather unusual. It has a red digital display on a mirrored background. If you look at the watch at an angle against the light, the display looks black. The large button on the front of the watch is for night use and when pressed brightens the red display so it can be read in the dark. Without this, you cannot see the display at a...ll at night. As far as I can tell, it is also a stopwatch, has a countdown timer and one or more alarms. I am afraid my technical ability on this type of watch is about nil. It is in very nice condition, but unfortunately does have a couple of deep scratches on the front, the worst part being around the large button. However, these are in a small area around the button and above the crystal, so are not that evident. The crystal is good with no scratches. The bracelet is original, and in very good condition. It is quite a heavy, chunky watch, measuring 38mm wide x 15mm thick. Please message me if you require any further information. Please Note - items shipped by carrier in the UK are priced for Mainland shipping only, which excludes Highlands and Islands. If you live in the carriers classified areas of Highlands and Islands, and also in Northern Ireland, please contact me before bidding as a shipping surcharge is usually applicable. Items paid for by Paypal will only be sent to a Paypal verified address. All UK items will be sent, unless otherwise stated, by Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded. All items, if under the maximum weight limit of 2kg when packed, will be sent overseas by Royal Mail Airmail International 'Signed For' service unless otherwise stated. Items are now sent this way to conform to eBay/Paypal regulations that safeguard both the buyer and the seller. This can make the shipping charge, particularly for overseas bidders, higher than possibly expected as the Recorded/Signed For service adds to the postage, particularly the overseas postage. I can accept no responsibility in the very rare event that items get lost in the post, but I will endeavour to do all I can to help the buyer by contacting Royal Mail and getting them to do the necessary search. Please be aware that it is illegal to falsify the value or contents on Customs documentation and under no circumstances will I do this. Overseas buyers are responsible for all duties and taxes, if applicable, that are levied by their Customs.
