Hereon offer is a finely detailed heavy antique Chinese gilt bronze figure, of anold man using an ear scoop to clean his ear, circa 1880 Thesecame to me from an elderly gent down in Cornwall who had who said they had beenin his family for as long as he could remember. Thisfigure also came with another that is of a Chinese man using a back scratcher, whichI have listed under item no. xxxxxxx Thedetail on this figure is just superb, please see all my pictures. Thereis... an overall loss of the gilt finish but it has been left with a beautifulbronze aged patina.Thebase is sealed and rattles with some metal fillings inside.Ican’t find a makers name or mark, but they are often very well hidden. Areal quality piece that makes a great display figure for any orientalcollection.    It measures 7” (17.8cm) wide by 6” (15.3cm)high and weighs a heavy 1.5Kg, so postage will be a lot. Pleasesee my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement thisdescription. Please note: The postage charges quoted are for, tracked UK postage.The international postage is shown for shipping tothe USA.
