An antique English solid silver gilt & copper chalice (the bowl silver, the rest copper), with an earlier knop decorated with winged cherubs (fitted upside down). Most intriguing, lovely quality & so collectible!CONDITION: Signs of denting, detail wear & bleeding commensurate with age and use - see pictures. Applied cross (or similar) missing to base.DATE/MARKS: English hallmark illegibl...e, around 1900. Maker's marks HF. Knop around 1600's?DIMENSIONS: 7 ¾ inches tall (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
