This is a fantastic vintage sterling silver inlay quail with flowers bolo by the late well-known Zuni artist Elliot Qualo. The fine detail on the inlay is extraordinary! The quail is done in various shells, turquoise, and coral. The flowers and leaves are done in mother-of-pearl, turquoise, and coral. All are inlaid in shell. The back and border are done in sterling silver with lovely stamping around the edge. The surface of the bolo is curved instead of flat. The back of the bolo is s...tamped with the elk antlers which was Elliot's hallmark. The bolo clasp is marked "Bennett, Pat Pend, C31." The bolo measures 3 inches by 3 1/4 inches. The two sterling silver tips measure 2 inches. It has an 18 inch braided leather cord.
