~Signed, Limited Edition Softcover book~"In the early 1930s, two young women were at a teacher's training college in upstate New York. Marilyn's background was German and, in 1935, two years after Hitler came to power, she returned to Nazi Germany to live. This is the letter she wrote to her friend Marjorie on her return to Cologne." The letter is pretty chilling, I will leave it at that (one quote is "...Hitler and his men are idealists who want only the very best for Germany"), except to say, it is all too sadly relevant today in terms of some people being oblivious to the rise of/dangers of fascism even when it's looking them in the face. This softcover hand made book was published by Stone Street Press (NY), 1987. It was limited to only 495 copies, of which this is #470. It's signed by Malachi McCormick in purple pen. Pages are clean and bright with no marks or tears. Front cover shows a small crease to upper corner tip. No other flaws. Very Good condition.
