You get a Contax IIa. This is the black dial version with mechanical synchronization. Serial number is Y57085. The lens is a Zeiss Opton Sonnar T 50mm f/1.5. Serial number 90953. The camera and lens were made in 1952. The camera you see is the camera you get. No games. Free shipping in the USA. All other buyers pay actual shipping costs. I ship the day payment is made. Condition report. Overall a very nice useable IIa and much better than average.... I give it a solid ex+ or 9. I think the winner will like it.
The shutter works at all speeds and sound good. (I do not have a shutter speed tester)The rangefinder works and the contrast is excellent. The lens glass looks very good. No fungus, separation or obvious haze. (There is very minor dust and a few very light cleaning marks that affect nothing). The self timer works. The counter works.The focus works smoothlyThe diaphragm works smoothly. No oil on the blades. The original take up spool is included. The original instructions in English are included. The body leather is intact. The film advance works smoothly.
You get the original case with strap. The case is missing the leather Zeiss Ikon seal on the front of the nose. The camera has 2 bumps in the leather on the back. The 40.5mm lens cap is genericThere are some brightmarks on the baseplate.
