Original Description:
Truely a labor of love pages appear from both 17th and up to late 18th century. Binding also original and appears early. 120 pages in all. PAGES ARE VELLUM! Gorgeous metal work on the edge of the binding. Absolutely MASSIVE book measuring about 22 1/2 by 15 inches. One page with a 3 inch tear. Some ink smearing as usual. Toasting to about half of the leaves as is common depending on the side of the hide written on. Bottom rope band broke but binding still holding nice with clasps sti...ll there and working. Loss of the leather and tears to leather as pictured.
