The six volumes of the Zoology series are No. 3520 in Plum, Adirondack Bibliography and comprise the earliest comprehensive descriptions of animals found in the Adirondack region (it is the first listing in chronological order).
Large hardcover volume in black buckram, stamped in blind & gilt, 9 1/2 x 12 inches, all joints and hinges tight, top of backstrip pulled with 1” tear at center. Part V. - (viii.), 271 pp.; Part VI. - (vi.), 70 pp., followed by 40 hand-colored plates of mollusca and 13 hand-colored plates of crustacea.
One of the better hand-colored plate series of the set. Really nice.
