Here is McIntosh at their best—their classic 210 watts (mono) power amplifier. Massive (50+ pounds) owing to the transformers and build construction, it is very conservatively rated at 105 watts per channel, for the two stereo channels. The sound produced is wonderful, with low distortion better than spec (0.09% when last tested) and noise/hum. This amp has been “resting” in storage for over 20 years, having been replaced by another unit. It performed at specifications when last ...used.
The photos show the actual unit; it is sold AS IS. There are some normal wear & tear items—scratches on the transformer cover and a slight amount of corrosion on the chrome edges and a couple of screws (shown). None of this impacts its performance. This is unit serial #57W17.
