Please note: This machine is equipped with Spanish/Español (ES) key caps.
Despite some minor flaws noted below, this Amiga 1200 is overall in good used condition and visually makes a good impression.
Mainboard:- Rev 1B board / 3.1 Roms / wire fixes are standard / applied at C= factory. (photo #6)- Cleaned and recapped with all new Panasonic capacitors.- Tested: memory, RGB video, audio, serial, parallel, PCMCIA, trap door expansion, both controller ports.- Not tested:... composite and external floppy drive connector (no test device)
Case & Keyboard:- Keyboard disassembled, cleaned, and tested.- Case has a small dimple below the left Alt key (photo #3)- Case has a tiny stress fracture at the joint on the left side just below the tilde key (photo #4)- Slight fading/uneven coloring (most noticeable on numeric keypad and above F-keys)
RF Shield:- Has lost some electroplating (cosmetic only - photo #7)- One tab missing (cosmetic only - under FDD)- Cleaned and silicone protectant applied to preserve remaining chrome finish.
Hard drive:- Replaced with a 4GB CF card. Preinstalled with licensed WB 3.1.- HDD activity light works.
Floppy drive:- Cleaned, lubed and calibration checked.- Older model that had trouble reading some marginal media.- Use of "NoClick" programs is not recommended with this drive model.- Fairly easy upgrade: https://amigakit.amiga.store/product_info.php?products_id=294
A basic US 120v power supply, 3rd party mouse, and cheap joystick are included to help get you started.
