bidding on one Eastman (Kodak) View 8x10 2-D view camera with red bellows and extension rail and some other extras.
the camera is in overall avg to good condition with supple bellows with no obvious large tears or splits...the bellows
have not been tested for light leaks and the may need some taping on some of the corners, but they look pretty good
none the less. The wood is in avg to good shape with no gouges, splits, or missing chunks. Rails are good, and a...n extension rail
is included. Comes with a 10" commercial ektar in a no. 4 acme shutter and the speeds are good. The glass is clean and clear
with some very light cleaning marks on both back and front elements, but the glass is in surprisingly good shape. Lens is mounted
on a threaded lens board. In addition, there is a fidelity plastic 8x10 cut film holder, and a plastic fidelity deluxe plastic 5x7
cut film holder, both in good condition. In addition to the 8x10 ground glass back there is a 5x7 ground glass back. The glass
in each back is nothing to write home about, but the glass is intact and will do the job.
So, there you have it. A vintage wooden 8x10 view camera with lens, two backs, two film holders, extension rail in decent
shape.
