1968 Leica M4 Chrome 35mm Rangefinder Camera. Serial # 1212636. This camera has been a one owner camera, purchased new on June 27, 1969. My grandfather was the purchaser. I have the original purchase receipt. I will include the original receipt with the camera, as proof of purchase and one owner.On it reads:1-M4 Leica SER# 1212636 Body.1-Dual Range Summicron lens with optical unit SER# 1467034.1-CasePaid CashThe case in the picture is indeed a brown leather case that reads "Leica"... on the front, and Leitz Wetzlar Germany on the bottom. The picture makes the case look black. There is a Leitz Wetzlar Chrome screw-in skylight lens filter attached to the lens that is on the camera.The lens on the camera is a Leica 50mm Summicron M mount DR Dual Range SER# 1467034 with eyes, hood, and cap. The hood on the lens reads Leitz Wetzlar Germany and the ID # is 12585. The removable eyes for the Summicron lens that mount on top of the lens, as seen in the picture, are stored in the black leather case that the leather strap is threaded through on the camera case.There is a Leica Meter MR light meter installed on the camera and the ID # is 01156.The Leica M4 Instruction book.The Leica reply card from the original purchase.The Leica Warranty Card. Working condition of camera is unknown. Shutter and film crank work to the best of my knowledge. Purchase of camera is "as is". Returns not accepted.
