This is a very hard to find Tandy Model 6000 keyboard in very good condition. In all the years I have been collecting vintage computers this is the first one I have come across. You will see the one issue in the photos - a key is missing. Other than that, this keyboard appears to be perfect. I opened it to make sure the interior was in good shape, and as you can see there is no corrosion and no debris. The inside is as clean as when it was new.
Re...garding the missing key, the keyboard switch itself is in perfect shape. I swapped the F5 for the Backspace key, and it fits and presses and releases no problem. The keyboard was made by Keytronics, a popular manufacturer in the 80's so you might be able to find a key that would replace it. Or - you can leave it as I have with the F5 in place of the Backspace. Which do you think would be used more?
Note, that I do not have a Tandy 6000 to test this with, so it is UNTESTED, but I do not see any reason why it would not work. Everything looks great. All I have done to it is clean up the dust.
