I'm a photographer, not a camera dealer, so this will be a real world description. No b***s*** like "doesn't affect image quality", or "Exc+++++++" and so on. If you read this you will know as much as I do about this beautiful camera!
Let's start with the important stuff.
Lenses:The taking lens has a fungus on the most backward element, close to the film. Y...es, I know it's horrible. But the beast is dead: it has been killed with a special soluction containing among other things hydrogene peroxyde, after which the camera has been exposed to one hour of pulsating UV treatment in a sterilisation chamber at my local biology lab (no kidding). This was about a year ago, since then there has been no growth and what is left of the fungus is rather transparent. More like the ghost of a fungus. I let you judge by yourself on the pictures (number two in particular shows as much as possible the fungus ghost). What is the effect on image quality? I don't know for sure. I have been shooting extensively with it and I haven't observed any weird shapes in the bokeh or anything obvious like that. There is also a bit of lens separation but it is very minor and on the outermost edge of the lense elements. Again I refer you to the pictures. The lense can flare when facing the sun but that's a sonnar design they tend to do that. Use the hood and it's fine (included).
Okay that's it for the bad news. Ha yeah there is also a bit of lens separation in the viewing lens but that's no big deal.
Other than that the camera is really in great shape. No cleaning marks on the front lens elements or any such thing. No haze.
Mechanics:Shutter is in perfect order.Lightmeter works a treat.Focusing is accurate (film tested...many rolls of film! Love this camera).Film advance is smooth.Automat mechanism works fine.
Cosmetics:Looks pretty good to me.No major paint scratches, leatherette looks recent and decent.
Oddities:The camera is fitted with some accessories:-The frame counter of a rolleikin kit. Doesn't really do any harm. It's just there.-The back is the special one that allows for the use of the glass film support. The glass film support isn't there.Again, doesn't do any harm, it' just there.
Accessories:Original lens cap.Lens hood that may or may not be original but perfect copy in any case.
That's all I have to say.Have a close look at the pictures and feel free to ask any question.
Good bidding to you, and if you win, do put it to use because this camera has an amazing lens that takes very special pictures.
Sample pics (pay attention to the way that the subject pops out of the background that seems almost like a painting.
