This auction is for a CLOSELY MATCHED PAIR of CV-1648 / 205-D, 205-E equivalent audio vacuum tubes made in Great Britain for Western Electric. An incredible find! These are NEW OLD STOCK in their beautiful ORIGINAL Standard Telephones and Cables BOXES. Each tube tests VERY STRONG at 64/37 and 62/37 no gas, no shorts on a Hickok TV-7 B/U tester. Glass is tight to the base on both tubes. Nice boxes are perfect for display. Please see photos.

These tubes came from the a...mazing collection of a good friend who acquired them many years ago while servicing equipment in Europe. We have had them in our collection for over 25 years. This is an excellent opportunity to own these historic original tubes because original tubes just sound better than reproductions. After these are gone there won't be any more.
